Hours: Monday to Friday: 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. Please note that there will be occasions when the shop is closed for offsite work and deliveries, however there will be a note on the door when I am returning.
Further photographs of the products we provide can be found in our retail shop. All cakes are provided by various suppliers, but are made to the highest standard.
Colours are correct at time of supplying photos, but some colours may be of slight variation due to type of material used in respect of sashes (as these are reusable sashes and are not brand new) or pastes in respect of cakes.
Deliveries
Prices charged for goods shall be those ruling at time of dispatch and the right to withdraw any items in the range without prior notice is reserved by Nice & Spice. We reserve the right to alter prices, where necessary. Consumers will be notified at time of order if any prices have altered.
Although we try very hard to keep up to date with our current stock, from time to time an item on the website may not be in stock. If you order an item that is out of stock you will be contacted.
Please note that although every effort is made to get your item to you first class there may be occasions where this may not be possible due to unforseen circumstances with Royal Mail or computer errors. However we will ensure to provide the best service we can.
All cakes are not delivered, except Wedding Cakes in the local area and surrounding counties. All others are for shop pick up only.
First Class deliveries take 2 to 3 days for processing and then 1 to 2 days for dispatch and Standard are 4 to 5 days from order and then 2 to 3 days for dispatch. If your delivery urgent please let us know and we will try and get it to you sooner.
Please note that if your order is placed around Bank Holiday time then there may be a slight delay in your order due to the holiday period.
Damages
We are not responsible should your item be damaged in transit, as this is beyond our control. You must not accept an item from your Courier if it has been damaged.
Should any chair covers or sashes be lost of stolen when you have hired them then you will be responsible for the costs involved. Which is 5.99 per cover and 3.00 per sash.
Uncollected Parcels
- Royal Mail or our couriers' agents will leave a note if you are not there to receive the parcel. It is your responsibility to call the delivery company to arrange a re-delivery or collect the parcel. You will be eligible for the cost of us re-sending the goods if the parcel is returned to us marked as 'Not called for'. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and refunded.
- If a parcel is returned due to incorrect or insufficient address details provided on your order you will be eligible for the cost of resending the parcel. Parcels will only be resent once the charges have been met.
Payments & Orders
We accept paypal and cards via paypal via a secure website. We also accept direct bank transfer and cheques. With cheques, please note that your items will not be dispatched until your cheque has cleared.
No goods are dispatched until full payment has been received. Please note that if you press the wrong delivery settings, then your item will either be delayed or not be sent until the correct delivery fee is paid.
We do not accept card in our retail shop
In our retail shop all cakes have to be paid for in full upfront beforehand. We will not make your cake unless payment has been received in full.
Once a prebooked order is booked in and a deposit has been paid then this is validation that you have accepted our Terms of Business.
Deposits
Please note that all deposits made on bookings for Cakes & Balloons are non refundable. Your deposit is taken on the condition that we will be providing you with a service and an actual booking space and date has been booked for you. That space and booking is then yours and we will not book anyone in that space. Therefore once your deposit has been paid we will refuse other customers so that your space has not been taken until at least 6 weeks before the event you still have time to sort out the amounts and colours you require.
Cancellations
Nice & Spice can cancel at any time for any reason (and without being liable for any damages caused).
Please note that if you decide to cancel your order after paying for it via paypal, then you will be liable for the costs in refunding your monies. Paypal charges a refund fee. All refunds will be deal with within 28 days of knowledge of the cancellation or refund.
With Business to Business cancellations, if you have already paid and it has been booked in then a 50.00 cancellation fee is due. Any refunds will be dealt with within 28 days of you requesting your refund. The cancellation fee is due for every transaction/order that has been cancelled. These are spaces that are booked out for your business and we have to turn other business away to honour yours. This is why these fees are due. Should you cancel a business order within 28 days of the date of the cancellation then further monies may be due as your order would have already been prepared.
Cancellations in respect of Chair Covers and Tablecloths - Cancellations can be made by telephone during normal working hours; i.e. Monday to Friday 9.30am – 4.00pm. This must then be followed up in writing, either by email or mail. In the event of cancelled forward orders, the owner will keep the deposit paid. Any cancellations within 28 days (28 days means business hours of Monday to Friday and does not include weekends) of the date of the event will be charged at the full rate. Any linen manufactured specifically for the customer will be charged in full once production had commenced. Such orders unfortunately cannot be cancelled.
Returns/Problems
Returning a Product: We are happy to refund your product, providing that the product has not been damaged in any way. The customer however is responsible for the postage in returning the product. Your item will then be refunded within a 30 day time period. (This also applies to overseas orders).
We do not accept returns on perishable products, such as icings, pastes, spones and sugar flowers.
Please note that when hiring goods if you have a problem with your order then please let us know in plenty of time prior to the event so that we may fix any errors or make any changes you request, as we cannot correct or make changes after the event.
We do accept returns on clothing and you will be fully refunded once the item has been returned undamaged and still in original packaging. Unfortunately we are unable to provide the postage for return, the customer is responsible for this.
Please ensure that your product is returned within 7 days of receiving it.
For Overseas Orders the return time is 14 days. You can telephone us using the prefix code of 0044 before the telephone number. Telephone call rates vary according to service used.
Privacy Policy
Nice & Spice do not disclose any of the customers information, address, name, telephone, email, etc to any other third party. Your details are kept private & confidential.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.Data collected by this site is used to:
